The material of the g.book SPECIAL EDITION notebook
Real leather is a natural product. There might be slight colour variations since every hide takes up the colour differently.
The handpicked cow leather is vegetable tanned, robust and 3-4 mm strong. We choosed to keep the natural character and look of the skin. This is particularly due to the special processing of the leather. Therefore the material maintains a lot of its naturalness and stays, despite its stability, smooth and soft. Furthermore it gains its characteristic look & feel, which as time passes develops a beautiful patina.
The paper of the notebook has a thickness of 80g and lies soft, yet smooth under fountain pen, pen or pencil lead. A real pleasure to write on.
